Tim van Riessen is an attorney-at-law at Spee & Bijl. His practice focuses on intellectual property law, contract law and commercial disputes.
He advises and litigates on a wide range of legal matters, including disputes over commercial agreements, liability issues and the protection of intellectual property rights. Tim stands out for his in-depth knowledge of intellectual property law and his sharp, results-driven approach. He has a talent for getting to the heart of complex legal issues and translating them into clear strategies, while keeping his clients’ commercial interests in view.
Tim completed his bachelor’s degree in Law and his master’s degree in Internet, Intellectual Property and ICT Law at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He has practised as a lawyer since 2021 and joined Spee & Bijl in 2025.
